A new group has been created within the framework of Liljans Musik! It's called Turmalin Duo and has the same members as Krilja Duo and Salamander Duo, but it focuses on Early music from the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque eras with "folkified" arrangements.
When the group Salamander was newly started, it had a very broad repertory consisting of Early music from the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque eras folk songs from many different traditions and various types of Jewish folk music. As time went by, Salamander's repertory became increasingly focused on music from various Jewish traditions, with the result that the non-Jewish repertory has becom mostly phased out. We're delighted to be able to share this repertory through Turmalin Duo!
More info about Turmalin Duo can be found here.
